Job Description
YWCA Madison is seeking candidates for a School Restorative Justice Coordinator. The person in this position would be a YWCA employee placed at two of our program partner schools throughout the school year. Work continues in the summer outside of schools.
The School Restorative Justice Coordinator is responsible for supporting and staff in implementing school-wide Restorative Justice philosophy and practices in order to interrupt the school-to-prison pipeline. As a member of the YWCA Restorative Justice team, the person in this position will also support development of Restorative Justice programs and trainings for school and community settings.  
This is a salaried, 100% FTE position.   The annual salary is $36,050.  Excellent benefits package with generous paid time off.  Generally, this position will require regular school day hours (7:30am-3:30pm).  
The ideal candidate will possess:  
• Associate's degree in the social sciences, human services, education, criminal justice or related field, or commensurate experience: either 2+ years’ experience providing youth services or 2+ years working in the field of Restorative Justice in addition to required experience below.
• Experience working in educational settings.
• Experience working with diverse youth and families.
