Job Description
YWCA Madison is seeking candidates for the position of Human Resources Director.
 
The YWCA HR Director is a member of the executive team.  He or she will direct, implement and administer policies and programs concerning; employment, employee relations, benefits, employee development, compensation, workers compensation, performance management, legal compliance and EEO/affirmative action. The HR director will provide advice and counsel to management and employees to enhance the effectiveness of the organization’s human resources.  The HR director will ensure that equity and inclusion are embedded into the culture, climate, policies and practices of YWCA Madison.
 
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, certified Human Resources professional whose career has included five years of management-level positions with major focus on employee relations and/or recruitment as well as experience with benefits, compensation and performance management.  The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict-management, analytical and time management skills and will be able to collaborate well with others. Candidates must support the YWCA mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and demonstrate cultural competency and the ability to work with diverse populations. 
 
This is salaried, full-time position with a salary range of $60-65,000.
