Position Opening: Human Resources Assistant/Recruiter

DAIS is seeking a Human Resources Assistant/Recruiter to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant/Recruiter assists with the recruiting process for all positions, including posting job openings, intake of employment applications, scheduling interviews, screening applicants, conducting reference checks and background checks and in addition provides additional clerical support and assistance to the Human Resources Manager with day to day needs that include file maintenance, data management, photocopying, printing, special projects, new employee orientation and providing back-up support with payroll processing.

A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment is required, human resources experience strongly preferred. Excellent organizational, project management, and critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with candor, tact, and diplomacy, commitment to confidentiality and collaboration, attention to detail and accuracy are all required. HRIS and payroll processing experience, experience with recruitment or job posting, demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and other technology tools and multi-lingual (e.g., English/Spanish) are preferred.
