Job Description
The YWCA of Madison is looking for 1-2 dependable and motivated individuals to work our Front Desk LTE approximately late April – August.  We also plan to use applicants from this pool to fill future openings at our Front Desk.
The Front Desk Associate is responsible for maintaining a presence at the front desk providing security to the building by monitoring the traffic flow through the lobby and visitor access during Evening and Weekend shifts.  Serves as a point of contact for building residents, directs clients to appropriate personnel, distributes information, responds to resident queries and complaints in a trauma informed manner, investigates disturbances, responds to emergency situations and completes the appropriate paperwork.  Flexible schedule, 2-3 shifts a week (approximately 11-19 hour/week).  Shifts are a combination of evenings (4:30pm-10pm), weekends (8am-4:30pm or 4:30pm-10pm) and occasional overnight hrs. (10pm-8am, differential included/shift can be split).  LTE support will be used to cover evening & weekend shifts as well as any vacation and sick time off of our overnight staff late April – August.  Starting wage is $12.50/hour ($13.00/hour with shift differential).   Ideal candidates must have availability for evening, weekend and occasional overnight hours.  Please visit our website for full position description and complete application instructions.  Preference will be given to applications received by Thursday, March 23, 2017, applications accepted until position filled.  No e-mails, please.  No calls please, except to confirm receipt of application materials.  AA/EOE.
